Jean crosses the finish line first!

Away from the pool, Otter's Jean Rolland took the solo win at the Gravity Race swimrun in Nantua, eastern France, on Saturday 12 September.

The Long course is a 40 km race from Lac Genin to Lac de Nantua, alternating 6 km of swimming across two lakes with 34 km of running and 1,700 metres of climbing. Jean finished in 5:54:54 to win the men's solo race. Sébastien Lamande was second, 28 seconds behind, with Charley Iriart third in 6:01:37.

With swimming as his main asset, Jean took the lead early on in the race. A 28 second margin after nearly six hours of racing made for a tight finish.

Congratulations Jean on taking the title in such a gruelling competition. That's the Otter spirit!
